Internal Audit Manager
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head of internal audit in Managing the departments operations
- Plan, lead and supervise audit and stock take team in carrying out assignments including internal control review, risk management review, investigation, stock take,etc.
- Assess and evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls and recommend areas for improvements
- Discuss oreminary audit findings, with the management during and at the conclusion of the audits, highlighting deficiencies and recommending improvements on controls
- ENsure that recommendations are clearly presented to and agreed by the management and that a subsequent audit report is issued promptly
- Review and finalize the draft audit report prepared by the audit team
- Ensure timely copletion of stock reconciliation
- Any other duties and projects as assigned and/or requested by the management
Requirements:
- Honors degree in accounting or finance, those with a CIA/CPA designation is preferred
- Min 5 years of experience in auditing with at least 3 years in internal auditing.Exposure in the retail industry is preferred
- Good command of Bahasa Malaysia or English
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrate strong communication, good report writting and presentation skills
- Willing to travel and possess own transport
- Applicants should be Malaysian citizens or hold the relevant residence status
ASSISTANT INTERNAL AUDIT MANAGER
Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise audit and stock take team in carrying out the assignments
- Able to prepare audit program and draft audit report independently
- Identify areas of weekness /improvement opportunities and implications and develop recommendations to improve controls
- Able to discuss with the management on control weaknesses and recommend improvements
- ENsure clear documentation of audit walk through notes, risk assessment, audit program, audit testing and samples selected and audit exceptions
- Perform follow-up audits to monitor the implementation of audit recommendations
- Review stock reconciliation carried out by the stock take team
- Any other duties and projects as assigned and/or requested by the management
Requirements:
- At least a bachelor degree in accounting or finance
- Min 3 years of experience in internal audit. Exposure in the retail industry is an advantage
- Good command of Bahasa Malaysia or English
- Good skills in Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrate strong communication and good report writing skills
- WIlling to travel and possess own transport
