INDEPENDENT POWER UTILITY ESB International of Ireland is a leading international power company and is operating, maintaining and managing the power generation, transmission and distribution facility at Kulim. It has vacancies for suitably qualified staff to fill positions for the Distribution System (132kV, 33kV and 11kV).
Applications are invited for suitably qualified Malaysian citizens for the following position: ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Chargeman (JBE/ST) Certificate level BO (11kV minimum, 33kV desirable).
- Minimum 5 years working experience with eletrical systems.
- Experience in electrical control and protection schemes (installation,testing and trouble shooting).
- Good level of English and Bahasa Malaysia both written and spoken.
- Reading of electrical wiring and schematic drawings.
- Computer user skills.
- Ability to work in a team.
Job Descriptions:
- Operations of Electricity Distribution network using SCADA and local operation (HV, MV, LV).
- Maintenance of Electrical Distribution network equipment (HV, MV, LV).
- Attendance to customer service calls.
