We are now seeking dynamic and highly motivated individual to join us in the following position:
IT Executive (Network) in Selangor
Responsibilities
Main responsibility is to maintain, monitor, troubleshoot and improve on IT infrastructure.
Resolving and root cause analysis of system performance/failure issues; create preventative measurement.
Administer Windows Servers, firewall and VPN.
Backup and disaster recovery strategy.
Establishes network users, user environment, directories, and security for networks being installed.
Working closely with other departments/organisations and collaborating with other IT staff;
Undertake troubleshooting of PC or network problem and routine preventative measures and implementing, maintaining and monitoring network security, particularly if the network connects to the internet;
Providing technical support on hardware and software to the end-users.
Networks (Include Wired and Wireless LAN, WAN) – Core and Floor Switches (Cisco), Cabling (Include end-to-end LAN points labeling), Racks (Include Patch Panels, UPS and etc), VLAN (Wifi, Server)
Participate in hardware/software projects and deployment plans.
Manage virus protection procedures on server.
Ability to do trouble-shooting and error correction with minimum supervision.
Requirements
Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
At least 1 year of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Extensive experience in handling Windows 2008 server is a must.
Experience in managing CISCO network, VPN, Security and UNIX/LINUX servers.
Experience in setting up and managing IT Network infrastructure is an added advantage.
Able to work independently, pleasant personality, self motivated and proactive.
Self-motivated with good learning abilities
A good team player with good communication skills
Good knowledge in Windows Server operating system
Good knowledge in anti-virus and backup software solution
Must willing to work in Klang.
